Glitter on your own words

Glitter text usually means finding a picture of someone else’s word, or masking a glitter photo by hand in an editing app. Here you type your words and the sparkle is laid inside the letters for you, with outlines and depth around it. Change the word and the glitter follows the new letters.

Glitter looks you can choose

  • Pink and coral glitter — for birthdays, baby showers and cute stickers.
  • Gold and amber glitter — for celebrations, New Year and anything “VIP”.
  • Pastel and stars — multicolor glitter and star-spangled letters for parties and kids.
  • Glitter with 3D — sparkly letters with a deep side, for titles and thumbnails.

Tips for glitter text

  • Add a solid outline. Glitter is busy; a plain outline keeps the letters readable.
  • Go big. Glitter reads best on short words at a large size.
  • Dark backgrounds make glitter pop; on white, use a darker outline.

FAQ

Text logos
QIs the glitter a real texture or just a flat color?
It is a sparkle texture placed inside the letters, with the outlines and 3D around it. It looks best in PNG and printed PDF.
QDoes glitter come out in the SVG?
Yes, but the glitter itself is placed inside the SVG as an image, while the letters, outlines and 3D sides stay vector. Glitter can’t be cut, so it is left out of a cut file — the shapes underneath are kept.
QWhich colors of glitter can I choose?
The styles include pink, coral, salmon, gold, amber, orange, crimson and pastel multicolor glitter. Open a style to change the colors of the letters and the outlines around the glitter.
QCan I print glitter text?
Yes. Open the style in the editor with Customize more and export the PDF — it is set up in print colors with bleed and crop marks. Printed glitter text looks sparkly but is flat; for real glitter, cut the shapes from glitter vinyl with a cut file.
QIs it really free? Do I need to sign up?
There is no sign-up and no account. Every feature, including transparent PNG and SVG download, is free while the tool is in beta. Anything you make during the beta stays yours to use.
QCan I get a transparent PNG?
Yes. Export as PNG without a background and everything around the letters is transparent, so you can drop the logo on a photo, a video or a colored page.
QDoes it work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in Safari and Chrome on iPhone and Android as well as on a computer. Nothing to install. The editor needs a reasonably recent browser.
