Here the decoration is the design. Pick a style with several outline rings and a drop layer behind it, and those layers already exist. When you export, they come out as separate cut layers — because that is what they were the whole time.

Lower colors grow

Hand-placed vinyl is never perfect. A fraction of a millimetre off shows up as a white hairline. So the lower colors are grown outward — but only where a color above covers them.

The top stays crisp

The topmost color is never changed, because that is the edge people actually see. Drag the slider and the upper color goes translucent, so you can watch the overlap you are buying.

How to make one

  1. 1Type it and shape it

    Pick a font or start from a ready-made style and change the word — the decoration stays put. Arch it, curve it, warp it, set the size. Everything is dragged with a thumb.

  2. 2Check before you cut

    Open the cut file panel. Set how many colors you are willing to cut, set the overlap for the lower layers, and simplify if the node count is heavy. It warns about unweedable specks.

  3. 3Export and cut

    You get an SVG with the layers separated and sized correctly — ready to drop straight into your cutting software. No account, nothing to install.

Built for a phone,
not shrunk onto one

Most vector work assumes a mouse, a keyboard and a big screen. That assumption is why so many people design on a laptop they have to go and sit at — and why “I’ll do it later” turns into never.

The controls here are sized for thumbs: steppers instead of hairline sliders, one row of settings at a time instead of a wall of panels, and a canvas that stays visible while you work. The drawing happens on your device, not on a server somewhere.

The same artwork exports as a print-ready PDF with the vectors intact. Enlarge it and the edges stay sharp, because they are curves rather than pixels — so one design covers the decal and the poster.

FAQ

Cutting
QWill it cut without installing my font?
Yes. The export is outlined paths, not live text, so there is no font for your software to substitute. The shape you approved is the shape that cuts.
QWill it come out the right size?
Yes. The canvas is a real sheet size, so a 6-inch word is 6 inches on import. You are not scaling by eye after the fact.
QCan I get separate layers for multi-color vinyl?
One file per color. The same color also splits into separate layers where pieces overlap, so the artwork does not change.
QWill I get white gaps between the layers?
Not if you use the overlap slider. Lower colors grow only where an upper color covers them; the top color is never altered.
QWhat will not cut?
Anything without a real edge — gloss, soft shadows, distressing, photos. Gradients flatten to one solid color. It names what it dropped instead of quietly cutting something you never designed.
