How it works

  1. 1Type 1–3 words

The hook from your title, not the whole title. Up to 24 characters.

  2. 2Pick a bold style

Comic 3D, chrome, gold, glossy 3D. Every card shows your own words.

  3. 3Download a transparent PNG

Place it on your 1280×720 thumbnail in any editor. Change the words later for the next video.

Title text that still reads at thumbnail size

Most people decide whether to click from a thumbnail a few centimeters wide in a phone feed. The text has to be read in a glance, on top of a busy screenshot. The styles here are built for that: thick letters, a strong outline and a surface with a lot of contrast.

Quick rules

  • Leave the bottom-right corner clear — the video length sits there.
  • Test it small: shrink the finished thumbnail to about 160 px wide. If you can still read it, it works.
  • Keep one look per series so viewers recognize your videos.

FAQ

Text logos
QWhat size is a YouTube thumbnail?
YouTube recommends 1280×720 pixels (16:9). Export the text PNG at least as large as it will appear on that image so it stays sharp.
QHow many words should thumbnail text have?
One to three. People see thumbnails a few centimeters wide on a phone; a long title turns into texture at that size.
QWhich styles read best small?
Heavy letters with one strong outline and high contrast — yellow or white on a dark outline, chrome on black, or comic 3D. Thin script and heavy grain get lost.
QCan I reuse the style for every video?
Yes. The downloaded file keeps its editing data, so you can open it again, change the words and keep a consistent look across your channel.
QIs it really free? Do I need to sign up?
There is no sign-up and no account. Every feature, including transparent PNG and SVG download, is free while the tool is in beta. Anything you make during the beta stays yours to use.
QCan I get a transparent PNG?
Yes. Export as PNG without a background and everything around the letters is transparent, so you can drop the logo on a photo, a video or a colored page.
